Join us for Monthly Neighborhood Meetings

Amistad community members after a Care Team screening

As the city of Philadelphia ramps up spending to host millions of visitors for the United States’ 250th anniversary this year, our communities are struggling. We are facing rising healthcare costs, cuts to SNAP benefits, underfunded public transportation, and masked agents raiding worksites.

No one is coming to save us. We must mobilize together to demand the protections and resources we need to thrive.

That’s why we’re gathering monthly in neighborhoods across Philadelphia. We come together to discuss the needs in our communities and chart paths to address those needs, whether it’s through mutual aid, legislative campaigns, community organizing, or practices that promote healing justice.

Our Germantown Community Group meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM at Germantown Mennonite Church (21 W Washington Ln, Philadelphia, PA 19144). Our next meeting will be this Wednesday, January 7th.

The West Philly Community Group meets the second Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM at West Philadelphia Mennonite Fellowship (123 S. 51st Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139). Our next meeting is on Wednesday, January 14th.

Our Frankford Community Group meets on the second Saturday of every month at 12:30 PM at Frankford Public Library (4634 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124). Our next meeting is on Saturday, January 10th.
