Join us in the Fight for a People's Budget

One of the most important moments in the fight for real community safety is Budget season. On March 13, Mayor Parker will address the city with her proposal for how to allocate the $6.3 billion the city will spend in FY 2026. Will they invest it in proven anti-violence programs like restorative justice and mobile crisis response, or will they expand the police budget even further? Will they spend money on life-giving programs for youth, like parks and recreation and public libraries, or will they invest it in youth detention facilities to lock up the young people they’ve neglected? Between now and June, join us demanding the city invest in the programs that actually keep us safe.
We have two upcoming opportunities for you to get involved in city budget advocacy to ensure Philadelphia invests in public goods and services that will benefit all of our communities, not just the wealthy.
March 13th from 6-8pm, the night of Mayor Parker’s budget address, we will be one of many community organizations gathering for for a citywide mass meeting on the budget proposal. Register here and join us at Church of the Holy Trinity (1904 Walnut St.) from 6-8PM. Food and childcare will be provided.
